New statistical criteria for sustainable development released

The Government News has quoted Circular No. 02/2025/TT-BKHDT, dated January 3, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, as regulating statistical indicators for sustainable development in Vietnam. Under the Circular, there are 145 statistical indicators which shall be used to evaluate the realization of 17 sustainable development goals in the country.

Accordingly, the General Statistics Office takes the prime responsibility for collecting and summarizing statistical information on sustainable development and build a statistical database on sustainable development in Vietnam.
